What are Renal Care Kits?
Dialysis patients endure long durations of draining treatments. Our Care Kits are aimed to make their days a little brighter. These kits can include games, lotions, manicure sets, informational handouts, and much more. Along with delivering the kits, FOD members can visit the dialysis center and provide emotional support via playing games and conversing with dialysis patients.
Follow Alaa’I, the President of Friends of Dialysis, as she thoughtfully assembles and delivers care kits to an affiliated dialysis center. These renal kits, usually made by FOD members during our campus meetings, are a heartfelt way we support patients through their treatment journeys. While the pandemic has paused our in-person gatherings, we look forward to creating these kits together again soon!
